Metro Districts
The Reserve is governed by a few different metropolitan districts with different roles and responsibilities.
(GVRE MD – Green Valley Ranch East Metropolitan District)
- GVRE MD No. 6 – Pays the interest on the initial funding from the developers that built the infrastructure for both The Reserve and the traditional community. We pay for this as part of our property taxes.
- GVRE MD No. 7 – Pays for things at The Reserve. We pay for this as part of our property taxes.)
- Second Creek Ranch MD – Manages the funds collected from every homeowner each month for both The Reserve and the traditional community. Oversees the GVRE MD Nos. 6-14.
(GVRE MD No. 8 – Pays for the things at the traditional community south of 48th Avenue. Included for completeness, but doesn’t affect us.)
